Employers General Insurance is committed to providing our customers with quality
customer service. This is accomplished by maintaining an experienced and
educated professional staff and ongoing activities to develop specialized
knowledge of our customers' business.
Experience Level
The majority of our employees have over twenty years of experience working in
the property / casualty insurance industry. The professionals we have providing
service directly to customers reflect this depth of experience. Our claims
adjusters average over 23 years of experience in their field, our loss control
professionals average 25 years experience, and our premium auditors average
over 29 years. Their specialized training in our focus industries, along with
years of experience in their discipline, enables them to deliver service to you
at a level unequaled by other carriers.
Education and Professional Designations
We look for individuals with insurance knowledge backed by formal education. We
are very proud of the fact that our employees hold over 78 individual insurance-related professional designations.
Over 13% of our people hold the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter's (CPCU)
designation, which is the premier professional designation for insurance
personnel. To qualify for the CPCU you must pass eight nationally administered
exams and go through a rigid background check. We have several more employees
working toward this designation.
Fifteen employees hold the Associate in Claims, which is the professional
designation for claims adjusters. This designation requires that you take and
pass four challenging exams in casualty and property insurance.
