As a Fortune 500 company and one of the 50 largest publicly held insurance organizations, ORI offered the financial strength to establish the dynamic new enterprise of Employers General Insurance Group, Inc. (EGI).

EGI is a Dallas-based company providing commercial insurance coverages on focused segments of the contracting, manufacturing, wholesale/retail and public entity industry groups. Our primary policy issuing company, Old Republic Insurance Company, is rated A+ (superior) by A.M. Best, AA by Standard and Poor's and AA1 by Moody's.

EGI also provides fee-based risk management services in both the private and public sectors. These services include claims administration, loss control, medical cost containment, premium audit, pressure vessel inspections and data processing. From its inception, management has believed that maintaining this diversified revenue stream along with providing outstanding customer service will ensure that EGI will remain a specialist in corporate risks throughout the southwest.
